Zoop is a financial services company that mainly processes credit card transactions for thousands of clients. I joined Zoop as a data scientist, but ended up being responsible for the data analytics team inside the fraud prevention department. Day-to-day included hands-on working on developing data infrastructure to support the fraud prevention op team, monitoring of transaction at an analytical level, developing dashboards for the operations team and doing team management.

Stone is one of the top 5 credit card acquirers from Brazil. I joined Stone as a data scientist and my day-to-day included working with clients to understand business needs, doing data analysis and exploration, and developing machine learning models for tasks such as churn prediction, product recommendation, and fraud prevention.
