Develop Backend and Frontend solutions to medical services software. I spend one year maintaining the Java Desktop app but we migrate the platform to Web using Spring boot and React. Some of my achievements are: • Maintain platform up to date • Maintaining database migrations from Java. • DevOps: I implemented front scratch Jenkins to make CI/CD deployments to windows and Linux machines. • I implement code analysis tools SonarQube to deliver clean and bugs free code. • Decrease downtime on software updates. • Implement Junit.
•DevOps Implementation from scratch to deliver .Net applications • Migration from on-premises infrastructure to on cloud. Changing from IIS VMs to App Services taking advantage of features as horizontal scale, deployments slots, load balancing, and others to fulfill client’s needs. Migrating from SQL VMs to SQL Databases on Azure. • I deploy using Azure DevOps to qua, stating, and prod environments using techniques like Canary and Blue and Green. • I implemented code quality testing with SonarCloud • My two biggest challenges were: • Analyze software and request the changes needed to implement on cloud and implement DevOps technology to create fast and secure deployments. I migrated from IasS to PasS on 100% database and 80% of services as web, mail delivery, APIs, etc. I am in charge of making app ZERO(relative) downtime on updates. • Migrate Crystal Reports servers from IIS to AKS to take advantage of Kubernetes.
Network and Software Security: oversaw maintaining software and network security by penetration test on network and software. I developed medical apps for Android. Managed infrastructure and services including, firewalls, mails, networks, etc. My main role was to maintain infrastructure to ensure services are always on. I adopted configuration as always on in SQL Server and App Loadbalancer to keep the platform always available. It was a hybrid environment on Azure Cloud and Local premises including apps and services like Exchange online with on-premises. My team design and implement redundancy on infrastructure, creating a second data center to have duplicate service on secure locations and implementing load balance/failover on all on-premises infrastructure and Azure Cloud.
Managing, VoIP, Active Directory, DNS, TCP/UPD, certificates, monitoring tools. Network configuration. Network security. VoIP: managed systems like VoIP Switch and Asterisk. Windows Administrator. Linux Administrator. My role was maintaining infrastructure for the Internet and VoIP. The main business operation is to provide internet and telephony to users. So I was on the team that was in charge of doing that. I configure routing for VoIP and Internet doing Quality of Service to improve network capabilities.
