I joined the company shortly after their launching. I did a diagnose and heuristic evaluation on the website and started to work on improvements; to do that I also had to do user research and refine the target audience, I conducted some user interviews to have a clear view about user requirements, goals and pain points. I worked together with the marketing team to increase brand awareness and engagement. I worked along with stakeholders, and users to develop new categories and features.
I worked as web UI Developer for Velocity Partners, in a nearshore modality for several customers in USA. I been part of distributed team accomplishing different kinds of tasks and using different front end technologies, from vanilla JavaScript to Angular and Phonegap; high performance HTML and CSS development for websites with more than a million users at a time; and running usability and preference testing.
I worked as Presentation Layer Developer for Globant, in a nearshore modality for Razorfish (USA). I worked as part of a team developing and re-building a very complex website that included custom java backend, movable type and drupal. We transformed the website to responsive (custom and bootstrap), created jQuery plugins, optimized the HTML and CSS and transforming the entire site to ARIA compliant on accessibility. We were also in charge of creating prototypes for usability testing.
I had my own small design studio when I finished college. I worked on graphic design project from logos to print advertising, and in website design and development using different technologies.
